BRAINOBRAIN STUDENTS AFFECTED BY THE PANDEMIC? 

AN INSIGHT ON HOW THINGS ARE GOING IN BRAINOBRAIN MALL ROAD SINCE THE LOCKDOWN 


A lot has been happening lately with the whole world being hit by the pandemic COVID-19. Losses are incurring everyday and there are barely any sectors unaffected. But one of the worst hit sectors in the world is education and the loss is not monetary. Children are the pillars of the future who are the only ones with the power to carry the world forward and education is the means to do that.

But, we are thankful to be born in an era in which we are able to proceed even with the social distancing and home-quarantine norms. We have been evolving with time in accordance to the challenges we faced. It's about time we took it to the next step. We believed that it will be safer to move to the virtual world as much as possible.

In the month of March, Brainobrain Mall Road began to take classes online. The application we used was zoom because not only is it available on multiple platforms, but also easy to use. I, as the moderator and helper of the centre, have an insight. I have seen the process and also involved in it at multiple stages. Moving from a physical offline teaching method to an online stay-at-home teaching method is not a simple transition. All the teachers worked hard to achieve proficiency in using the application with the help of students. In no time, the classes were back on track with full enthusiasm. For the convenience of parents, UPI payment method was introduced. Distribution of course books was unavoidable, so they were sanitized and handed over through a safe distance. Even if a child was in circumstances unable to visit the centre to collect the books, the centre provided them with the scanned copy of it. 

Brainobrain Mall Road and it's team is giving it's best to keep the classes on track, but "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." Keeping all the fun activities up was a part of the classes and our teachers intended to keep it that way. Each and every activity is helpful to a child in it's own way and is thus considered to be a crucial part of learning. Skill is developed in different ways and no one mentioned them to not be fun, right?

Our whole brainobrain family is evolving together, and we can win against this pandemic only with unity. Therefore, we thank you for being part of our family and let's thrive together

FIRST EVER ONLINE BRAINOBRAIN COMPETITION

AN ONLINE BRAINOBRAIN COMPETITION?  After COVID-19 has hit the world, the order has been disrupted and everything is affected by it. The institution of Brainobrain used to conduct a district, regional and national level fest every year, but this year, it had to be halted. But, was social distancing and self-quarantine enough to interrupt the fest? No one ever said the fest cannot be in our own safe haven, our home that is. In the month of June, a regional level Brainobrain Online Fest was conducted. This competition was the first ever online competition to be conducted by brainobrain, a first even among the 42 countries in which brainobrain is established. WHY BRAINOBRAIN? BRAIN AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT In human beings, the learning power of brain cells is maximum upto the age of 18 years. During this time, children try to gather as much information in the form of knowledge as they can.
